The CS Series safety valves regulate pressure for both compressible fluids and liquids.
For compressible fluids, the valve opens quickly when pressure exceeds the set point, with fluid discharging through the nozzle at critical velocity. This "pop action" allows for rapid pressure release with minimal overpressure. Once the pressure drops below the set point, the valve closes swiftly.
For liquids, the valve operates more gradually, with larger overpressure and blowdown values, ensuring smooth pressure control throughout the process.
