To ensure a tough valve for the demanding, low temperature applications, Habonim utilizes a surface treatment called LTPN (Low Temperature Plasma Carbo-Nitriding) which, in short, provides a more than three times harder surface than standard rustproof steel.
If a high temperature is required, use Habonim ASME B16.34 certified castings for all pressure-bearing parts. If there is a need for a valve to handle very abrasive media, Habonim also offers the coated valve a minimum of 1.5 mm hard-wearing stellite coating.
All these options are made as needed depending on the application, in order to ensure the right valve for the required task.
