FS220 is a Clamp-On Flow Meter for Simple Applications with Clean Liquids
The SITRANS FS220 is a clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement system consisting of an FST020 transmitter and FSS200 clamp-on sensors.
The FST020 is a basic clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter designed for fundamental application requirements. It is based on the same platform as the FST030 and delivers the same accuracy and similar functionalities at a lower cost. The system is ideal for water measurement and applications that do not require temperature or viscosity compensation.
Operating Conditions
- Pipe sizes from 12.7 mm to 10 m
- Suitable for pipe materials such as metals, glass, FRP, and most PVC variants, but NOT suitable for concrete pipes and special composite materials
- Pipe wall thickness from 1 to 35 mm, with special solutions up to 65 mm available upon request
- Medium temperature range from -40 to +121 °C, and up to +230 °C with universal high-temperature sensors
