The high-frequency oscillator undergoes periodic triggering to generate damped oscillation pulses. The amplitude and duration of these pulses are directly linked and, over a broad range, show a linear correlation with the damping caused by the presence of a conductor in the inductive field. This RF signal is integrated and directed to the output amplifier. Adjustments can be made to both the zero point and range (sensitivity).
Designed as a contactless transducer, the proxi-captor is ideal for tasks like distance measurement, strip or edge detection in coiling or loop control systems. Its adjustable features make it versatile and well-suited for various industrial monitoring applications.
