Address Adjustments

Below you see the possible address adjustment for the angle sensor EDG 50 series.

¨How to operate the EDG 50 Series

If you wonder how you operate the encode, the follow the instructions below - after 3 steps you know how to do it.

1. If you have an encoder model with two power supply connections both of them have to be supplied with voltage.

2. If you only utilize the 4-20 mA analog output, meaning the Can bus is not connected, it is necessary to configure the 120 Ω termination resistor of the encoder by bridging the connections labeled "CAN_L" and "120 Ohm."

IF your device is lacking a "120 Ohm" connection possess a termination resistor that is pre-set and cannot be modified.

3. You have to make sure that all the wire you use is isolated or connected to the terminals.
