Tacho Indicator EAF xxx

Dr. E. Horn tacho indicators of type EAF ... 5 offer a comprehensive solution for measuring and displaying pulse-frequency signals obtained from contactless sensors. These indicators incorporate a built-in measuring converter that directly converts the pulse-frequency signal into a driving direct current for the meter.

The flexibility of these indicators allows for the allocation of any frequency range to any indication range within the specified technical limits.

Simple and Easy to Read

The analog displays from HORN is giving you a display that is easy and simple to read.

This inherent simplicity and ease to read is also the primary rationale behind the continued prevalence of analog display instruments, ranging from dial instruments to rotating symbols driven by stepper motors, to voltage-independent speed indicators with moving coil movements.

Advantages of the EAF Tacho Indicator

One of the notable advantages of the EAF tacho indicators is their compatibility with a wide range of sensors due to various connection options.

HORNEL pulse sensors are highly recommended as they have defined frequency ranges that align well with the design of these indicators.

Customized to Your Needs

Upon special customer request, the indicators can be customized to include an additional current output of 0 to 20 mA, except for specific types.

To accommodate specific requirements, the response threshold for the input signal, display settings, and current output can be easily adjusted using a small 2 mm screwdriver, with plastic plugs conveniently located at the rear of the meter.

This level of adjustability ensures optimal functionality and performance for different measurement applications.

Why Analog Displays Are Still Widely Used

Simple and clear readability remains the key reason for the continued use of analog display instruments, ranging from dial gauges and rotating symbols (stepper motor-driven) to externally voltage-independent speed indicators with moving coil mechanisms.
