Digital Indicator Programmable for U/I or Pt100 Input

The MDA 26 indicator functions as both a voltmeter and a temperature-measuring device. It is a member of a collection of digital panel instruments that provide direct process value display or programmable indirect indication.

This instrument was specifically designed to minimize stock costs and offers customers versatile programming options for use as a U-/I- or Pt100 measuring instrument. Calibration is initially performed at the factory but can also be conducted in the field.

Digital Speed-Indicator with one Frequency Input

The MDA 26 digital indicator, designed for speed and frequency measurement, is part of a series of digital panel instruments that provide direct process value display or programmable indirect indication.

The incorporated software enables intuitive menu-based programming and operation.

This instrument is versatile and can be used as either a frequency or speed-measuring device.

Depending on the selection, it supports the connection of various types of sensors, including single-line shaft encoders, non-contact three-wire pickups with PNP or NPN output, magnet-inductive two-wire pickups, NAMUR pickups following DIN 19234 standards, or AC-tacho-generators.

Supply voltages are available for the pickups. By utilizing the programming feature, the input frequency can be assigned to nearly any desired value for indirect indication.

What types of sensors can be connected to the MDA 26?

The MDA 26 supports connections to single-channel shaft encoders, non-contact three-wire pickups with PNP or NPN outputs, magnet-inductive two-wire pickups, NAMUR pickups (DIN 19234), and AC tacho-generators.

How do I program the frequency range on the MDA 26?

The device allows programming of the input frequency in 1 Hz steps, up to a maximum of 50 kHz, through its menu-driven interface.

Can I adjust the number of decimal places displayed?

Yes, the MDA 26's 5-digit LED display can be configured to show zero, one, or two decimal places, depending on your preference.

What is the operating temperature range for the MDA 26?

The device operates effectively within a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C

How is the MDA 26 mounted?

The indicator is designed for panel mounting, fitting into a 96x48 mm cutout with a depth of 127 mm, compliant with DIN 43700 standards.
